We respect your privacy and handle your personal data with care. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal data when you visit التحول-الرقمي.com or contact us through it. We follow Oman's Personal Data Protection Law, issued by Royal Decree 6/2022, and its executive regulations, together with general data-protection principles.

Who we are

We are a company based in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, providing digital transformation, process automation and AI solutions to businesses. We are the "controller" of the personal data collected through this website, meaning we decide why and how it is processed.

What data we collect

We collect only the data you give us through the website's forms, and only the minimum needed to serve you:

• Contact and consultation form: your name, company or organisation, work email, phone or WhatsApp number if you choose to add it, the service you are interested in and your message.
• Savings calculator: the values you enter, such as headcount, hours and hourly cost. The result is calculated in your browser, and we only store these values if you ask us to email you the result, in which case we store your email address and the values entered.
• Digital maturity assessment: your answers to the assessment questions and, if you request the full report, your name, email, company and sector.
• Newsletter: your email address, subscription date and preferred language.
• Limited technical data: our server logs basic operational data such as IP address, browser type and request time, solely for security and abuse prevention.

We don't ask for sensitive data such as health or financial information or ID numbers through the website, and we ask you not to include it in your messages.

Why we use your data

We use your data only to:

• reply to your enquiry and arrange the consultation you requested;
• email you your calculator result or maturity assessment report when you ask for it;
• send the newsletter if you subscribe, with the option to unsubscribe at any time;
• protect the website from spam and misuse;
• improve our content and services using aggregated statistics that don't identify you.

We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when submitting a form, to take steps at your request before a contract, or for our legitimate interest in protecting the website. We never sell or rent your data, and we don't use it for automated decisions that affect you.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for:

• Contact messages and consultation requests: up to 24 months after the last contact, unless they lead to a contract, in which case statutory retention periods apply.
• Calculator and assessment data linked to your email: up to 12 months.
• Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe; we then keep your email on a suppression list only, so we don't contact you again.
• Technical server logs: up to 90 days.

After these periods we delete the data or anonymise it so it no longer identifies you.

Cookies and analytics

By default our website runs without tracking or advertising cookies. We use only cookies that are strictly necessary, such as remembering your language or theme and protecting forms against forged requests. If we measure traffic, we use cookieless tools that don't collect identifying data and only show us aggregate figures, such as visit counts and the most-read pages.

If we ever decide to use non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

Service providers

We use a small number of service providers that process data on our behalf and only on our instructions, such as:

• our website hosting provider, where the database and files are stored;
• our email delivery service, used to send replies, reports and the newsletter;
• our spam-protection service attached to the forms.

They are bound by contractual obligations to keep data confidential and secure. Where data has to be transferred outside Oman, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place as the law requires. We don't disclose your data to anyone else unless the law requires it or a competent authority lawfully requests it.

How we protect your data

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS encryption, restricting access to staff who need it for their work, strong passwords and two-factor authentication, and regular backups. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure; if a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the competent authorities as the law requires.

Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Law you have rights over your data, including the right to:

• be informed and access your data, and receive a copy;
• correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• erase data that is no longer needed for its purpose;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal;
• object to direct marketing, including unsubscribing from any email in one click;
• complain to the competent personal-data-protection authority in Oman if you believe your rights have not been respected.

We respond to requests within the period set by law and may ask for additional information to verify your identity first.

Children

Our website is aimed at businesses and professionals, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Links to other websites

Our website may link to external sites. This policy doesn't cover them, and we recommend reading their own privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or in legal requirements. We publish the updated version on this page with its new effective date and, for material changes, inform newsletter subscribers.
